Tuesday evening November 3rd NBC news with Brian Williams led with the story about Senator John Kerry's comments about our troops in stuck in Iraq. The video they used to show Kerry's ill fated comment was edited to help the Senator. They actually put together two different clips. The first clip showed Kerry talking about President Bush. It was edited to the clip showing Kerry's "Stuck in Iraq" comment. When watched by a normal viewer it looked like the Senator was talking about the President right before he made the "Stuck in Iraq" comment. However, that was not the way it happened.
It is a blatant example of biased reporting. After the clips were aired NBC made every attempt to remind viewers that the President's ratings were low and that the polls did not bode well for Republicans. In the words of Donald Trump..."Somebody should be fired." America needs credible news reporting. It is long overdue for the media to reinvent itself. Year after year we get the same format, the same look and unfortunately the same biased reporting against Republicans. The product is getting worse. However, you can fight back. Turn them off. If you get a questionnaire from a ratings firm...tell them you do not watch. Also, call and write to the sponsors and tell them you will not buy their products until they advertise on programs that do not distort the news. You will be surprised at how much power you really have.
